Stop the Cycle of Recurring PADM Failures
- Many Porsche owners pay thousands for dealer replacements, only to see the ‘Service Required’ warning return months later. Why? Because the OEM part relies on industrial glue that fails under extreme heat and vibration. When you buy an OEM replacement, you’re simply installing the same factory design flaw all over again.
- PopoRacing is different. We didn’t just replicate the factory part—we re-engineered the failure point. By replacing unreliable glue with mechanical screw-in architecture and soldered pins, we’ve permanently solved the detachment issue. Stop wasting money on temporary fixes. With PopoRacing, you fix it once, and you fix it for good.

Note on Installation:
While our sensors are designed for a direct fit, we strongly recommend having the replacement performed by a certified Porsche specialist or a professional technician. Proper torque and clearance (especially near the oil cooler) are critical for the long-term reliability of the PADM system.
-
For specific models like the 981 GT4, please note the difference in accessibility:
- Left Side (Driver’s Side in US/LHD): The sensor can typically be replaced in situ without removing the transaxle mount.
- Right Side: Due to the proximity of the external oil cooler, space is extremely limited. It is necessary to partially remove or loosen the transaxle mount to gain sufficient clearance for the sensor replacement.
-
When a PADM fault occurs, is the PADM system in full soft mode or full hard mode?
It will become a fully soft mode, and after the chip falls off, there will be no current inside. It may stretch or compress to its limit, which can cause abnormal noise and vibration.
-
Will the other mount work normally when a PADM fault occurs on one side?
The other side will work normally, but due to a relatively large load, it may break down in a short period of time.
-
Installation tip (for Type B):
Remove the center nut from the 718 engine bracket, which will make it much easier to remove the bracket, especially the nut on the right side.
